Villa dei Vescovi

Villa dei Vescovi, in Luvigliano Torreglia, is the most important pre-Palladian country house of the Renaissance. The Villa was built in 1535 on an embarnkement of the Euganenan Hills as a holiday home for the Bishop of Padua. FAI – Fondo Ambiente Italiano - received Villa dei Vescovi as donation and opened it to the public in June 2011 after a long restauration.

Imperial Castle of Monselice

The Imperial Castle of Monselice is made of several interesting types of buildings. The castle was built between the eleventh and the sixteenth century. Afternoon excursion to the Castle of Monselice € 25.00 per person (minimum 4 people).

Valsanzibio - Barbarigo Pizzoni Ardemani Garden

Valsanzibio ranges among the most important and unspoiled baroque gardens in the world. It was achieved in 1669 by the Venetian nobleman Zuane Francesco Barbarigo. Seventy full size statues, mainly due to Enrico Merengo, and sixty more different sculptures were integrated into a world of architectures, streams, fountains, water jokes and fish ponds, between hundreds of different trees and over an area of forty acres.
